The Waveney Inn is the Waveney Valley’s premiere waterside destination pub and hotel. Featuring a contemporary bar and restaurant, a mouth-watering menu and a friendly team, the pub is at the heart of the award-winning holiday destination, Waveney River Centre.
When the weather’s good, the huge outdoor deck is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a fabulous view over Carlton Marshes nature reserve. The bar and restaurant is air-conditioned and there’s a purpose-built function room, that can hold up to 100 people, complete with its own enclosed courtyard garden.
The quality of the food and drink on offer reflects the quality of the locally sourced food and drink used for the ingredients. The meat is supplied by Pepperells butchers in Harleston, artisan bread from the Penny Bun Bakehouse in Lowestoft and a wide range of ales, spirits and wine, from Adnams in Southwold.
Many of the meals are available in small, regular and large sizes.
To explore the Broads, stay in a hotel room and explore Carlton Marshes Nature reserve, or hire a luxury, self-drive day cruisers for 6-12 people. Canoes, kayaks and bikes can be hired for the day or half day. There’s also an on-site shop, children’s playground and wildlife garden to explore.
