Take a close look at small and elusive mammals in live traps with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.

Thorpe Marshes Guided Walks

Explore NWT Thorpe Marshes, in the Broads, yet on the edge of Norwich in Thorpe St Andrew. It's a charming mix of grazed and un-grazed marshes, ditches and the open water of St Andrew's Broad.

Garden Birds – Poringland


Join the South Yare Wildlife Group for an illustrated talk by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) about our "Garden Birds."

Capturing the Seasons – Field sketchbook workshop - Carlton Colville

Get out and about in the peaceful autumn landscape of the Norfolk Broads. Guided walks will lead you along country lanes and quiet paths beside deserted rivers where the only sounds are from the geese flying overhead and the wind whispering through the reed beds (or you chatting to the nice people you’ve just met on this holiday!). Walks will be 5/6 miles.

Whitlingham Night Adventure – Trowse

Walk around Salhouse Broad with the Ranger, learning about the fascinating history of the area, and how humans have shaped this landscape from the very beginning of their time here.

Tom Harris Trio - South Walsham

Tom learnt to play piano and trombone while at school and served his jazz apprenticeship with the Norwich Student Jazz Orchestra at the time of the millennium, an era in the Orchestra’s history that produced some phenomenal jazz musicians. He is equally at home playing piano or trombone in small combinations and big bands and runs his own jazz trio and quartets. Amongst a range of pianists that have inspired him are Tommy Flanagan, Count Basie and Hank Jones. The programme will be diverse and will include some new takes on old favourites. Playing with Tom will be Ivars Galenieks (bass) and Steve Matthews (drums).
