An informative boardwalk leads you through a tapestry of beautiful scenery and allows you to explore both the environment and its history. It’s possible to see lots of wildlife around the reserve including swallowtail butterflies, Norfolk hawker dragonflies, marsh harriers, and perhaps even otters.
Guided boat trips on the private Broad on our specially-designed electric boat run (weather and numbers permitting) from April to October. Call 01603 270479 for more details and bookings.
From the floating Broads Wildlife Centre, it is possible to see common terns nesting on their specially built platforms, and if you’re lucky you may see the unmistakeable osprey- with a 1.5m wingspan, the majestic fish-easting bird of prey can’t be missed!
