🌿FREE DAY AT THE MUSEUM OF THE BROADS! 🌿

📅 Sunday 13 September | 10am–4pm
📍 Museum of the Broads, Stalham

FREE admission to the Museum and Wherry ‘Maud’ for one day only! 🎉

This is a fantastic opportunity to come along, explore the Museum of the Broads and discover the fascinating history of our waterways, traditional boats and the people who worked on them. Bring the family and make a day of it!

⚓ Step aboard Trading Wherry ‘Maud’ and see how the wherrymen worked — including raising and lowering the mast, loading cargo and traditional ropework. Visit the pop-up museum to discover her incredible story, from working wherry to being rescued from a watery grave and restored to sailing order.

🧶 Have a go at peg loom weaving with the brilliant local artist Jo Couldrey using traditional wooden looms and sheep’s fleece — a great heritage activity for visitors of all ages.

🚤 Boat trips will also be available during the day at standard prices.
Come and join us for a great day celebrating the heritage of the Norfolk Broads!
