Open daily from 9.30am to 4pm we are much more than just a coffee shop, serving breakfast, hot lunches, homemade cakes, savouries & afternoon tea.
Our afternoon teas are made fresh by our bakers, so to give them time to make all of the tasty treats booking is required.
John, our head chef, has prepared great menus (that can be viewed on our website) using own grown & local ingredients, plus we always have daily specials available.
The restaurant is fully licenced and air-conditioned with a lovely undercover patio overlooking our garden & living wall.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on our patio & in our garden and, if they are allowed, our front of house staff will usually give them a treat.
Look out for our Saturday evening themed menus throughout the year – our steak nights our popular & get fully booked very quickly.
We can cater for private functions & parties at Vera’s, or our restaurant can be booked for meeting & events etc.
Our site at A G Meales & Sons Ltd also includes a farm shop, plant centre and pick your own. Our chefs & bakers make delicious Vera's products that are sold in the Farm Shop for you to enjoy at home.
