Canoes are the best way to explore the Norfolk Broads. Small enough to fit down our secluded Wherry Cut, quiet enough to observe wildlife close up and stable enough to accommodate beginners and children.
Take out a canoe or kayak and explore Salhouse Broad. The Wherry Cut offers a peaceful place to watch wildlife and surround yourself with nature, see the innovative Salhouse Spit Restoration up-close from a unique angle, or paddle to the Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail, where you can get out, stretch your legs and discover this real Broadland wilderness. Or, if you'd rather stick to the river you can head towards Horning or Wroxham and even make it as far as Ranworth (you'd need a 6 hour hire).
