Rockland Marshes

Connect in the great outdoors by visiting this breathtaking RSPB reserve. It’s bijou, and offers superb views over Rockland Broad, the River Yare, reedbeds and open grazing marshes. Viewing the beautiful wildlife together will be infinitely more rewarding than a table for two.

Gallery Crawl

There are loads of amazing artists who are attracted to the Broads for its creative atmosphere. Why not take a tour of the local galleries in the area to discover inspirational art and maybe even purchase a piece to remind you of your lovely day? Galleries to check out include Riverside Art and Glass at Wroxham, Cork Brick Gallery in Bungay, the Ferini Gallery in Lowestoft and the Greenhouse Gallery in Norwich.

Weaving the Love

Pottery
Pottery is a great couples activity

Why not learn a local skill together or take classes? You could try out weaving or spinning with the Worstead Guild of Weavers, dance at Bramerton, pottery at Sutton or a craft class at Wroxham Barns - the Broads is your oyster!

So rip up your cinema tickets and unbook that table, true love should be shown with original thinking and we think these should help you get well underway for a truly unique and alternative Valentine’s Day.
