Win a day sailing on the Broads

Visit the Broads have teamed up with Eastwood Whelpton to offer the winner of our latest competition a fantastic prize of a Skippered Day Sail on a traditional Norfolk Yacht, for up to four people in the idyllic Broads National Park.

Eastwood Whelpton is a family-run business and has been one of the Broads' most well-known sailing companies for many years, offering holidays, RYA approved training courses and fun taster sessions for those wishing to get into sailing.

The winner of our prize will get to enjoy a hands on exhilarating day on the water, learning the ropes and enjoying a sail on the beautiful Broads under the watchful eye of one of their sailing instructors, with a picnic lunch and snacks onboard included. The prize is for up to 4 people and is valid until 30 October 2022.

Competition terms and conditions

Visit the Broads is a trading name of Broads Tourism Ltd. C/O Larking Gowen, King Street House, 15 Upper King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, NR3 1RB (which is its registered address). The prize draw is run by Broads Tourism Ltd.

This competition is open to all United Kingdom residents aged 18 years or over.

The competition closes at 12pm noon Wednesday 20 April 2022. The winner will be selected at random from all the correct entries no later than five days after the closing date and will be notified by email. The winner must respond to the email and may be required to provide proof of identity including name, address, age and email address within five days in order to claim the prize.

All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winners. If the winners cannot be contacted or fail to provide valid proof of identity or fails to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in these terms and conditions or otherwise fails to comply with these terms, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and Broads Tourism Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve drawn at the same time as the original winners.

To enter the draw you must fill out the form above and answer the question "How many vessels does Eastwood Whelpton have in its fleet?" correctly before 12pm noon Wednesday 20 April 2022.

The prize is subject to availability and must be taken by 30 October 2022. If the prize winner is unable to take the prize during these times the prize will lapse.

The Prize is a single voucher for a 'Skippered Day Sail' for up to four people, including yacht hire and instructor.

In the event that the prize cannot be supplied, no liability will attach to Broads Tourism Ltd. Entry into any competition does not give rise to any binding agreement between the parties. When prizes are supplied by third parties Broad Tourism Ltd. are acting as their agent and, as such, are excluded from all liability for loss or damage you may suffer as a result of any competition.

The Promoter's decisions in all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and the Promoter reserves the right not to enter into correspondence in respect of this prize draw except with the prize winner.

Broads Tourism Ltd. reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend or modify these prize draw entry rules or the prize at any time.

Employees of Broads Tourism Ltd., Broads Authority and the prize provider and their immediate families and agents may not enter.

We reserve the right to disqualify or reject any entry we believe to be in conflict with our promotion or not made in good faith or on other reasonable grounds or made under multiple accounts belonging to the same user. Only one entry per person is permitted.

By entering the prize draw, all entrants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and the winners consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of advertising, promotion and/or publicity in connection with the prize draw.
